I am currently an Area Sales Manager (ASM) in the Trade Sales division at Tata Play Ltd., where I oversee distribution channels across three districts. My responsibilities include:Expanding distribution networks by recruiting new partners.Conducting B2B and trade sales activities through distributors, DSRs, TSRAs, and retail outlets.Strategizing infrastructure development and aligning Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) with business objectives.Setting targets for sales forecasting for diverse partner groups.Providing comprehensive training on our dynamic product range, pricing structures, and promotional offers.Inspiring and supporting partners to enhance their performance in a competitive market environment.Prior to this role, I got placed in the Executive Trainee Program at Tata Play Ltd., where I gained valuable exposure across multiple departments, including significant experience in B2B sales as an Area Sales Manager and service operations as an Area Service Manager.Before my tenure at Tata Play & During my MBA from Jaipuria Institute of Management, Jaipur. I interned with Johnson Controls - Hitachi, where I successfully increased brand exposure, gathered competitive insights, and drove sales, achieving a milestone of INR 1 million in turnover. My internship also involved conducting market research on the marketing challenges in air conditioner sales compared to competitors.I have also worked with MH Jewels Co., managing product listings on Etsy and handling marketing and sales initiatives.
