Work with the project leadership team to ensure organization’s OSH complianceDesign and implement Occupational Safety & Health programs (OSH)Effectively manage a team of HSE Professionals Effectively manage OSH programs & the associated budget at multiple areas of the projectConduct site OHS inspections and auditsFacilitate regulatory visits by stakeholders Manage emergency response during accidents & incidentsIdentify accident/incident/near-miss root causes, contributing factors &effectively implement corrective actionsConduct/lead training in applicable OSH areas to Managers & Supervisors (BBS, IIF, Leadership HSE alignment & commitment workshops) in line with the organization’s HSE Policy & ProceduresEvaluate programs, issue recommendations and implement changesInteract with senior managementLiaise with all other functional first line management and supervisionCreate and manage HSE departmental budget for OSH activitiesParticipate in tactical planning and support of corporate OSH initiatives such as workers welfare, wage protection system, workers camp inspections, sub-contractors’ OHS compliance checks during pre-qualification & tender stageWork with HR, Corporate social responsibility (CSR), Sustainable Development teams to manage workers’ compensation claims and return to work programs

Implementation of Integrated Safety Management System in the project effectively.Participate in workplace activities to raise the quality of HSE input, including JSAs, incident investigation and risk management;Conduct sub-contractor HSE audit and report findingsOrganise HSE training & inductions.Oversee HSE campaign for a strong workforce of 5000 employees within the Infrastructure project.Monitor the implementation and effectiveness of Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) plans for all assigned sites.Measure HSE performance and analyze leading & lagging indicators

Assist the Project Manager/ Construction Manager in the development, implementation, monitoring and improvement of the project Health, Safety, Environment & Injury Management systems.Supporting the creation of a culture which facilitates the achievement of best practice in Health & Safety, Environmental and Risk Management.
