Front office-Created an effective and productive team of professionals to lead from the front of the House.-Developed SOPs for: (a) Welcoming the guests and the check-in & check-out process; (b) telephone etiquette; (c) customer complaints; (d) maintenance and training the team for the particular job.-Formulated a check-in and check-out sheet as we did not have a PMS in the beginning. Developed a protocol on filing guest folio for the accounts to have a clean sheet.-Coordinated and led the front office service team to improve customer satisfaction and improve the room occupancy in the hotel.Housekeeping-Developing SOPs and training of staff for timely and safe cleaning of guest rooms. -Formulated a sheet for laundry. The movement of linen was noted duly to lower the damage and deliver a clean product.-Purchasing of cleaning products and amenities for the housekeeping. -Training the front office manager to inspect the rooms periodically to deliver the best to the guest; as part of multi-tasking and employee’s growth.F&B-Coordinated and led the team in the opening of Café in the Hotel.-Took part in the menu development and design along with the chef.-Coordinated with the chef to formulate recipe to reduce wastage. -Recruited of pre-opening staff and conducted initial training for them. -Worked along with the staff in the beginning to promote and boost sales. -Undertook PR & marketing of the Café to reach out to the potential customers in the area.Accounts & Purchase-Purchased all the necessary items in the Hotel including the F&B requirements for the Café.-Analysis of the accounts statement every month to monitor the cost incurred and the improvement in the sales.Government Licensing-Managed all the government related requirements and functions i.e. licensing, tax payments, visa renewals and periodical tourism ministry inspection.
