Mohammed Alrubaye, a current Sophmore Biomedical Engineer at University of Florida. I am a first-generation student coming all the way from Iraq. During my time growing up in the United States I found myself to become a persistent individual with goals that required me to go that extra mile. I've come far as an immigrant when I got off that plane all that time ago and wish to work with any opportunity I find myself bestowed with.Over the course of my career, I worked in different areas of expertise and found myself to resonate with team building and leadership exercises to support my team towards success. I found hospitality and communication skills and have used them to often work different demands or difficulties along the way. I am an ambitious yet humble life-learner willing to expand my skills even more.I find interests in prosthetics, biomaterials and the development of synthetic materials used in the medical field. I also enjoy doing photography, photo editing and model building in my free time!
