I am a passionate enabler who likes to deliver hard-hitting messages that move people emotionally and inspire them to make long-term, substantive changes in their personal and professional lives. Having addressed a number of professional associations, govt. agencies and national and international audiences, I believe that change comes from the inside out. Dedicated to helping people find the passion in their work and rediscover the joy of living life with purpose, principles and integrity, I like to use powerful stories to illustrate how, in a do-more- with- less- world where change is constant and competition relentless, it is still possible to go home at the end of the day emotionally charged, instead of emotionally drained. I transitioned in 2016 as CEO of the Center for Strategic Solutions after 10 years as the Director of Business Employer Solutions and Corporate Relations at the Illinois workNet Center in Arlington Heights. My focus was workforce and economic development helping boomers, veterans, youth and 'at risk' populations transition into productive employment. I helped design and implement nationally recognized programs in workforce development. Prior to this position, I founded a series of successful businesses in Houston Texas, ranging from Business Consulting to Construction and the Internet before moving back to Chicago to be closer to family. I also anchored the International News Hour on AM 1070 KENR, and did a call-in talk radio show on business and community affairs in the local Houston market.I am a founding member of the Midwest Reshoring Initiative, the Northwest Area Planning Council, the Tech Advisory Council at Lake Park High School, Former member Board of Regents at Northwest Suburban College in Rolling Meadows, and sat on the steering committee for Ability Links at Marrianjoy Hospital.
