Responsibilities:-Monitor the quality of packed and unpacked potable water according to the standard operating procedures of SASO and EPA.-Perform Physical and chemical tests for drinking water using (Hach Spectrophotometer-DR 5000/6000, TDS Meter, PH Meter and Turbidimeter) instruments. -Conduct the Microbiological tests required for drinking water samples based on standard operating procedures of SASO.-conduct the special tests on water samples, ensuring the tests are… Show more Responsibilities:-Monitor the quality of packed and unpacked potable water according to the standard operating procedures of SASO and EPA.-Perform Physical and chemical tests for drinking water using (Hach Spectrophotometer-DR 5000/6000, TDS Meter, PH Meter and Turbidimeter) instruments. -Conduct the Microbiological tests required for drinking water samples based on standard operating procedures of SASO.-conduct the special tests on water samples, ensuring the tests are undertaken in compliance with applicable procedures and methods. -Good command of spectroscopic and chromatographic techniques such as: - ICP-OES (Thermo i CAP 6000 Series). - GC-MS (Agilent 7890a Series).-Perform volatile organic chemical analysis using GC/MS based on EPA methods​.-perform analysis of Metals and Trace Elements utilizing ICP-OES according to EPA methods.-Handle sample preparation of different analytical applications to identify and quantify environmental toxicants such as (Trace Metals and Volatile Organic Compounds).-Identify causes of problems and possible solutions and Prepare technical reports and report findings to laboratory Manager.-Perform periodic calibration of laboratory equipment.-Compile records and interpret analytical results.-Ensure chemicals are handled and stored according to laboratory regulations task.-Perform routine daily maintenance on laboratory equipment that is being used.
