• Manage and supervise the daily operations of the logistics department, ensuring efficient movement of goods and materials.• Oversee a team of 28 logistics staff, providing guidance, coaching, and performance evaluations.• Implementing cost-effective logistics strategies.• Utilize applications like SAP, MS Excel, Google Sheets, and GPS monitoring systems to track shipments, monitor warehouse activities, and generate performance reports.• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve overall supply chain processes, enhancing order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.• Develop and maintain relationships with vendors, carriers, and third-party logistics partners to ensure seamless operations.• Lead continuous improvement initiatives, identifying areas for process optimization and implementing best practices.• Conduct regular safety audits and training sessions to ensure compliance with industry regulations and company standards.• Contribute to budget planning by providing insights into logistics requirements and cost projections.• Act as a point of contact for resolving customer inquiries and addressing any logistical issues promptly.
