I started my professional career as a computer trainer in 2003, after my graduation from high school, With a specialization in math. In next year (2004) I started two side projects: A web hosting company (Awraq media), and an Arabic printed cultural magazine (Tanjah Al-adabiya).I worked, from 2007 to 2008, as a Community Manager at Ikbis, an Arabic Startup from Jordan that combined Flickr and YouTube. I was probably the first Community Manager in MENA!In my entrepreneurship journey, I launched several small side-projects, all of them was sold later after a short time.My big job began in September 2012 when I joined two friends to launch an email marketing company. I was the IT and Product guy. First, I built the internal Email Marketing tool named Hawk. It’s a high-performance platform to manage Lists (Data) and deliver successful campaigns for our partners, with full compliance with CAN-Spam regulations and best industry practices. In the meantime I began my journey as a manager: I created the outline for the Culture; Mentoring team; Defining development methodologies, and lead strategic planning. My free time was dedicated completely to raising my knowledge in Management and Leadership fields, plus the new trends in IT.In the summer of 2015, the end came, somehow, as expected. The small company, with its talented team, fascinating culture, and high-performance IT infrastructure, was attractive to an American giant. So, the merge is done. For me, it’s time to move forward and cultivate more skills and experiences in management and leadership.
