During my internship, I had the opportunity to gain valuable field experience in the construction of structural elements such as columns, slabs, and beams for residential buildings of up to 10 floors. This experience enabled me to learn the importance of maintaining quality standards on the field while keeping up with the project schedule. Additionally, I was able to gain knowledge about the quality standards used on construction sites and various methods of quality and safety management on site. Overall, this internship has equipped me with the necessary skills and confidence to perform on-site construction jobs effectively and safely in the future.

During my internship with the Hyderabad Metro Rail Project, one of the most prestigious construction projects in India, I had the opportunity to gain field experience in constructing piers, foundations, and superstructures. This experience taught me how to maintain high-quality standards while keeping up with the project schedule. Additionally, I was able to gain practical knowledge about the challenges associated with construction activities in urban areas. I was responsible for on-site planning of construction and developed a construction plan for piers and foundations using Microsoft Project software. I also gained insight into the quality standards and safety management practices used on site, including visiting the casting yard to observe the differences between on-site construction and industrial construction. Overall, this internship provided me with the skills and knowledge necessary to confidently perform any on-site construction job safely and efficiently.
