I am an internal auditor at Central Bank of Somalia, where I conduct audits and reviews of financial statements, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance and efficiency. I have a master's degree in Islamic finance from INCEIF, the global university of Islamic finance, and a bachelor's degree in Islamic finance from IIUM, one of the leading Islamic universities in the world. My core competencies include leadership, management, teamwork, and Islamic finance principles and practices.In my current role, I work with a team of auditors to evaluate the effectiveness and adequacy of the bank's internal controls, risk management, and governance systems. I also contribute to the development and implementation of audit plans, methodologies, and recommendations. Additionally, I have experience as a facilitator of co-curricular activities in Islamic development at IIUM, where I mentored and trained junior facilitators, organized camps for the facilitators and the students, and coordinated between the Centre for Credited Leadership and Virtues and the junior facilitators. Through these experiences, I have developed skills in communication, collaboration, problem-solving, and creativity. I am passionate about Islamic finance and its potential to create positive social and economic impact. I am eager to learn from and share my knowledge and insights with other professionals in the field. I believe I can bring diverse perspectives and experiences to the team and the organization.
