Mohamud Olow is a British Columbia Programs Lead at Together Project. His dedication to helping newcomers-entrepreneurs impressed me from the first time I met him. Our organization, Vision2Reality Foundation, provided free business startup workshops for Spark and Ignite programs during the two years. Mohamud also used his time to help our foundation as a mentor for newcomers who have dreams of starting a business in Canada, and he supported our Event " Idea-Lab Pitch " for two years. During the 2024 Vancouver Startup Week, he also donated his time to be a panel speaker for our event. He shared his journey to Canada and how his organization will help more newcomer entrepreneurs. Although our two organizations aim to help more newcomers find their places in Canada, I am genuinely touched by his commitment to helping others. I'm glad the ISSofBC's leader noticed his ability to grow and lead. In the past two years, I witnessed Mohamud being promoted two times in ISSofBC."
