Hi everyone, I am currently working as a Mechanical Engineer at Valeo. I am graduated from PSNA College of Engineering and Technology (2021 passed out). I am very much passionate about engineering, designing and also skilled in some CAD and CAE software. I have one year of experience in automotive (ADAS) domain. In this one year I have gained a good experience in automotive cameras, camera applications, camera fixing and simulation, Field of view simulation, Viewport generation, Vehicle environment creation and simulation, 3D cad design, 2D drawing and some optical simulation. RESPONSIBILITIES:> Analysing and optimising the vehicle camera position and orientation for SVS (surround view system) and RVC (rear view camera) applications.> Location study for various camera locations including front, back and side mirror cameras.> Designing real time scene which includes all necessary data like mannequins, bollards, trailer cad, roads and buildings and other roadside car cad models.> Simulation and creation of RAW images using ANSYS-SPEOS software which is the FOV (field of view) simulation.> Studying the viewport generated by viewport team which includes distortion corrected images and several views of the cameras fixed like Front normal view, Rear normal view, Side camera views, Split view etc depending on the requirement of the OEM.> Analysing the NHTSA (FMVSS111), Euro-NCAP Standards for Rear view cameras.> Meeting with customer discuss the camera position and finalize the position.> Collecting mechanical data like vehicle and camera parameters (vehicle dimensions, camera coordinates, camera parameters, blind spots for front and rear cameras) by using CATIA.> Perform optical simulation for IVC (Interior vehicle camera) using ANSYS SPEOS with different daylight and night time conditions.> Performing Ground Plane study for various vehicles and finalizing the feasible Ground Plane for proper viewing of cameras.> Performing INVERSE and INTRACTIVE (pixel grid) simulations using ANSYS SPEOS.> Creating distortion file for given camera lens using the given distortion equation.> Performing 3D design and 2D drawing for the cameras and camera brackets for different OEM.TOOL KNOWLEDGE: CATIA, ANSYS-SPEOS (Light Modelling, Digital Surveillance), Ansys workbench, CREO, MS WORD, MS EXCEL, POWERPOINT, GOOGLE WORKSPACE.
