- Design and develop applications, data models, and data structures on the SAP HANA platform. Create stored procedures, SQL scripts, and other elements that make use of HANA's in-memory capabilities.- Create and maintain data models in SAP HANA, including Attribute Views, Analytic Views, Calculation Views, and other objects. Understand different types of data models and choose the appropriate one based on the business requirements.- Develop and maintain data integration processes using SAP Data Services, SAP Landscape Transformation Replication Server (SLT), or other ETL tools to load data into SAP HANA from various sources.- Optimize SQL scripts, procedures, and data models for performance. Use SAP HANA tools like Performance Analysis, Execution Plan Analysis, and others to ensure high-performance applications.- Design and develop applications using SAP HANA extended application services (SAP HANA XS) or SAP Cloud Platform. This includes front-end development, back-end logic, and integration with other systems.- Perform unit testing, integration testing, and performance testing to ensure the quality and reliability of solutions developed on SAP HANA. Debug and troubleshoot issues as they arise.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business analysts, data scientists, and other developers to understand business requirements and deliver appropriate solutions. Work with stakeholders to ensure the solution meets business needs.- Ensure that data stored in SAP HANA is secure and complies with relevant regulatory standards. Implement data encryption, access controls, and other security measures to protect sensitive information.- Create and maintain technical documentation for SAP HANA solutions, including architecture diagrams, data models, procedures, and application logic. Ensure that documentation is clear and accessible for other team members and stakeholders.
