Job Responsibilities:• Manage 150+ local and international chilled food suppliers for Asda Stores Ltd.• Service compliance – audit suppliers performance towards Asda’s Standard Operating Procedures, escalate the non conformance and assist with issue resolution.• Conduct in-depth root cause analysis on misdelivery, damages, loss, paperwork issues, rejections and provide suggestions on continuous improvement and process development. • Manage the reverse logistics of Asda’s 10 Distribution Center, assist suppliers on claims investigation and resolution.• Manages the suppliers’ contracts and monitor their performance. • RDC engagement – act as the day to day focal point of contact for managing the relationships between the Asda’s DC network and NFT to ensure trends are identified and issues dealt with in an effective and timely manner. • Work with supply chain analyst in demand planning and forecasting on any seasonal and promotional stocks. • Work closely with Planning and Suppliers (to get the most accurate estimated pallet quantity for collection), NFT Transport and Asda’s DC (collection and delivery turnaround times), and Operations (audit, pallet presentation, return).• Engage with new suppliers and ensure they are effectively transitioned into both the Asda’s and the NFT network. • Manage the team, supplier and customer interaction in a time pressured, fast paced supply chain environment. • Manage and analyze the planned and actual pallet dispatched by the suppliers to DC for effective vehicle utilization.
