I had two internships in 2019. The first internship was with East Central Railway, where I received training in various core activities of Signal and Telecommunication Engineering, such as Telephone Exchange, Optical Fibre communication system, Quad Cable communication system, Public Announcement System, PRS/UTS working system, Mobile train radio communication, signal interlocking, and basic signaling system.The second internship was with BSNL, where I gained an overview of telecommunications networks and an introduction to the principles of the telecommunication industry. I also learned about mobile technologies, including GSM and CDMA as well as emerging trends in telecom networking.From these internships, I gained knowledge in various aspects of Signal and Telecommunication Engineering and telecommunication Networks, which could be valuable in my future career.
