I have 5+ years of experience In Managing a startup, Teaching, Research and CNC production.In my current position, I have played a key role in setting up and managing J P Industries, a metal fabrication start-up. Being a partner I have worked in order to achieve smooth functioning of the plant by taking responsibility for Raw material planning, procurement, material preparation, quality, and customer service.In the past year, I have learned many things apart from technical expertise such as finance and human resource management which are the prime factors in the smooth functioning of the business. This position has boosted my self-confidence in facing and resolving issues which interrupt the day to day activities of the business.In my previous position as an Assistant Professor, I have handled an array of subjects in the mechanical engineering discipline. Bridging the gap between academia and industry was my prime objective during this period which I have achieved to some extent by guiding projects under recent trends and organizing activities to train and develop students. Apart from teaching I had an opportunity to serve as NBA coordinator of the department which was a challenging and at the same time helped me learn a lot of things in setting and achieving outcome-based goals.
