• Responsible for the smooth and efficient running of the Operations Department.• Set and defines the Handling procedures for the department.• Preparing Budget for the Department.• Ensures a cost efficient operation with optimum utilization of manpower, equipment and facilities within the framework.• Reduce the waste and increase the value-added work • Preparing department manpower requirements based on the scheduled activities.• Preparing the departments Organization Chart.• Ensure Airline specifications and hygiene standards which are strictly adhered.• Ensure all communications received to be forwarded to the concern departments.• Handling Airlines customer complaints• Maintains close co-ordination with the Customers and ensures that all their requirements are met efficiently within the framework.• Constantly review existing system and procedures and introduce improvements wherever necessary to enhance efficiency.• To prepare galley plan, packing list, loading list, crew hand over sheet daily / monthly inventory as per requirement of the airline • Training the staff, mentoring them, keeping them motivated. • To maintain healthy work atmosphere in the department.• To curtail expenses by implementing effective control.• To prepare flight schedule for production, operation, transport department• To ensure proper control of the inventory/ordering of the customer airlines equipment as per custom rules and regulation.• To establish control of pre/post flight check system.• To ensure that the challan is generated as per menu guideline instructed by F & B.• To ensure all Delivery challans are submitted to F & B department on daily basis which in turn help account department to generate monthly report timely & accurately • Consistency in performance & effectively handling crucial responsibilities
