My team handled the support and development of multiple websites which handled data in a distributed system which was critical for our clients to operate and be profitable. I handled a team of multiple developers in multiple geographies to deliver on commitments for our team. I was responsible for motivating the team to exceed the SLAs defined for operations. Apart from delivery & SLAs, I also maintained a stong affinity within the team.

Work on Development of new screens using Prime faces 5.3 and Spring in the back end with Java as the programming language. In enhancement of existing screens I use JQuery, JSON and Ajax framework where the underlying framework is either JSF or Struts. Developed new methodology to insert data within DOM elements of the HTML page for debugging on the fly using Fire-Bug or other browser debugging tools. Steered my team to be the first team in Starwood to implement Agile methodology in maintenance model and delivered an exceptional performance and laid the foundation for all other teams. I am the technical lead in all the scrum calls for the portal.Provide dedicated assistance to level 3 team in coming to conclusion of incidents even while working on Development projects.Worked on browser compatibility migration from IE 6 to IE 9 and then from IE 9 to IE 11.Work delegation, co-ordination and interaction. The portal that I work on is a User interface of Central Reservation System which interacts with all the other engines (like availability and booking) to get data through Data Power. If any XSD or WSDL is updated, we have to do the same.Work with technology architects of Starwood to develop prototype of projects which will bring in more work for Accenture in the form of QA, Development and level 3 teams. This activity also instills confidence in the client on our performance and our ability to achieve things. Worked on two major Migration projects. Project 1 - Destination Pheonix : We moved our data centers and upgraded our technoligies on a large scale. Project 2 - Migrated to JAX-WS from JAX-RPC and Upgraded from JSF 2.0 to Primefaces 5.3. Actively involved in the recruitment and training of new individuals at organization level.First prize winners of Hack-a-thon and presented the idea to then CEO, Senior VPs of Starwood which got accepted and is in the process of bring materialized.

Developed two major capital projects for the client using latest market technologies like JQueryUI, JSON, AJAX framework on jQuery. This was done with underlying framework of JSF. Worked with Six Sigma Black belt from Accenture as a Green Horn and completed the fish bone analysis with our team in Singapore. As a part of VAJRA - Volunteers Associated with Jobs Related to ASE, I mentored new joiners into the industry and the organization.

Root cause analysis of production tickets. Monitoring the SLA clock in accordance to the client and present all tickets to clients on a daily basis. Developed my proficiency in UI frameworks like Struts and JSF according to industry best practices. Technical documentation of knowledge transition and of new enhancements.
