  Objective 1: To maintain reliable, efficient and safe supply of power and water to the network through proper coordination with SOD, Water Scada, DUSUP and other agencies and also by keeping updated information of the plant conditions and following up defect rectification of the equipment/ system in timely manner.Objective 2: To ensure operator preparedness to effectively handle plant transients and take corrective action without delay during abnormal deviation in process parameters and/or disturbance in the system and regularly train subordinates by conducting group discussions on plant incidents, different emergency scenarios and contingency plans so as to reduce the impact on system integrity .Objective 3: To follow and maintain safety and environment friendly standards in all operation activities. Ensure that all isolations of equipment /system are perfectly carried out prior to issue of PTW and/or HWP to maintenance in accordance with isolation & normalization and PTW procedures. All SOPs are followed in order to avoid personnel & equipment accidents.Objective 4: To build, develop and maintain competent and proficient shift team by encouraging the subordinates to learn the modern skills/techniques and provide them with necessary on-job training, Tool box talks in order to ensure reliable plant operation.Objective 5: To study, discuss and suggest plant modifications and corrective measures for plant betterment and for improving plant processes to achieve efficient, economical and safe operation of the plant.
