My name is Mohanad, and I am passionate about making a positive impact in various aspects of life. With my diverse interests and experiences, I aim to bring value to all the communities I engage with.As a mental health advocate, I have been actively involved in promoting awareness and support for individuals struggling with mental health issues. Through my work as a volunteer ambassador at Children's Cancer Hospital 57357, I have had the privilege of providing emotional support and companionship to young patients and their families. This experience has taught me the importance of empathy, resilience, and the power of human connection in overcoming adversity. In addition to that, I have also volunteered for the Nafsak platform, which aims to spread mental health awareness among youth, particularly in communities where mental health is stigmatized, such as Egypt, by hosting online and offline events. Moreover, I have given many public talks and coaching sessions at my school, under the supervision of my teachers, to discuss mental health topics.Currently, I am pursuing my undergraduate degree in medicine, which aligns perfectly with my passion for helping others. As a first-generation college student, I understand the challenges that come with breaking barriers and paving new paths, and I am eager to learn and grow alongside fellow students who share similar aspirations.My journey thus far has been filled with opportunities for personal growth, learning, and service. I believe that by sharing my story and experiences, I can inspire others to do the same.
