I am a veterinarian with an in-depth experience cross geographies in the field of animal health, livestock and food process. I work on improving food security and livelihoods under a One health approach.I have an extensive background in veterinary medicine, infectious disease epidemiology and implementation of disease control programs at national and international levels. Working in multi-stakeholder and multi-disciplinary projects involving government, private sector, producers, and communities has enabled me to have a deep understanding of managing risks pertaining to emerging infectious diseases, food security, livelihoods and health systems.Presently, I head the animal health component of the emergency Prevention system against transboundary animal and plant pests and diseases.
