I have over 25 years of experience in launching, leading, and growing innovative companies in various sectors, such as internet-based solutions, financial services, venture capital, and healthcare.I am also the author of Autobiography of an Immigrant, a book that captures my journey from India to the shores of America, detailing my life and learnings along the way. I am passionate about creating value for shareholders, customers, and society through entrepreneurial endeavors that leverage technology, creativity, and collaboration. Some of my notable achievements include founding and leading Stamps.com, the leading provider of Internet-based mailing and shipping solutions, and entering into a definitive agreement for its acquisition by Thoma Bravo for $6.6 billion; co-founding Envestnet, a leading provider of financial technology solutions for wealth management; and serving as a board member and executive chairman of several other companies, such as SecondOpinionExpert, Frientap, HouseCallsNow, and IGDS Technologies. I am also currently the CEO of Ananda Enterprises, that provides consulting services to various companies in the areas of technology, management, intellectual property rights and international marketing specifically in India and also helps the companies to raise the needed capital. I am the Executive Chairman of SecondOpinionExpert, which provides healthcare services and related technology tools to healthcare companies for telemedicine services to patients around the world. I am also a founder and a prior director of Envestnet, which is a financial services company and is a leading provider of integrated portfolio, practice management, and reporting solutions to financial advisors and institutions. I am also a founder and a prior director of a European based Venture Capital Firm, JAB Holdings Limited, incorporated by the laws of Guernsey. The Venture Firm’s capital was raised through a public offering in the Alternative Investment Market of the London Stock Exchange in the UK. I also created a Law Firm in 1986, Ananda and Krause. My primary area of interest was providing technical, management, intellectual property rights and other corporate legal advice to high tech startup and medium size companies.I am also involved with a number of charitable activities in the US and in India through Ananda Foundation, Achuthan Nair and Easwari Amma Charitable Trust, Paanini Foundation.
