The consolidated Data Warehouse utilizes Property Data from third-party companies and enhances it through in-house data, reducing costs by 20%. • Software stack driven by an in-house ETL tool developed my team, executing SQL business rules defined in JSON format using Apache Spark and Spark-SQL. • The framework is an AWS cloud-based data stack utilizing Glue and AWS EMR clusters. The deployment is through Cloud Formation Scripts included as part of the framework. • The framework utilizes AWS Data Pipeline on the EMR cluster and Glue workflow management system. This is being migrated to Airflow.• The framework is written in Scala and utilizes Test Driven Methodology to reduce QA costs by 50%. Snowflake is being used as Data Warehouse and Power BI is being used to create Dashboards. • As the next phase of this project, the Property Data Mart and the Framework is being used to bring huge reports generated mainly using Excel to cloud and Power BI.

Part of Big Data/Analytic team at Macy's working on Real Time System Analysis and Measurement (RASM) system and Cloud based Enterprise Telemetry Platform. Software stack consists of Hadoop, Spark, Sqoop, Hive and HBase (Hortonworks/Cloudera platform) and Amazon OpenDistro Elastic (ELK) Clusters.RASM is the main Log Analytics and Alerting platform for Macy's Mobile Apps, Risk Management and Fraud Detection teams and Macy's Social Apps. RASM uses Spark Streaming to calculate Metrics and send Real Time Alerts. Raw logs and calculated Metrics are stored in Elastic cluster and Dashboards for end users are created in Kibana.RASM also uses Spark Streaming to extract Analytics for Risk Management Teams. Macy's call center operators use RASM's extraction and stitching together of Real Time Security Events to manually clear a Big Ticket Item when the transaction is declined by Fraud Management Software.

SIGOS, provider of Quality of Service Testing Solutions to Telcos acquired my Team to provide interactive access to latest Phones from DeviceAnywhere Device Bank and to provide Drag and Drop support for creating automated tests for Mobile Applications. Product was renamed from DeviceAnywhere to AppExperience.Emphasizing integrating AppExperience and SIGOS Site Solutions using Service Oriented Architecture, managed the design and implementation efforts of teams in US, Germany and India. Solution was delivered on schedule and successfully deployed for German Telekom in May 2017 after showcasing it at SIGOS User conference.AppExperience is the only tool to have Drag and Drop Scripting support to automate testing of Hybrid Applications and Mobile Web Sites eliminating need for QA Engineers to learn Selenium or Appium. Innovative use of Chrome driver and Appium in our back end made User QA teams maintain their short release cycles. The product seamlessly supports iOS as well as Android devices. Realizing futility of using custom TCP/IP Socket based communication layer which was very hard to proxy, led the team to wrap the communication layer in WebSockets while providing backward compatibility for existing customers. Single handedly took over Agent development for Android in C/C++ for interactive access to more than 100 Android devices from all major manufacturers for Android versions 4.42 to 8.0 in DeviceAnywhere public cloud. Agent is built by studying Android Source code. Implemented HP's QTP (Quick Test Pro) plug-in for DeviceAnywhere: This provided Keynote DeviceAnywhere's remote device access and Mobile Testing Automation support features to QTP users. Users could mix Keynote DeviceAnywhere's Mobile Automation commands with their QTP scripts. The work involved writing a C++ layer to translate QTP instructions to Java and calling appropriate Java APIs provided by Keynote DeviceAnywhere. Users could also record scripts by clicking on the device screen directly into QTP. Leading a team of 4 Software Engineers to handle both client and device-side development efforts for Keynote DeviceAnywhere.

Led a nimble team of 4 engineers to design and implement DeviceAnywhere Studio (DA Studio), the main User Interface for DeviceAnywhere remote Access Service for Mobile Phones. Developed DA Studio User Interface using Java's Swing toolkit, allowing users to interact with the phone and record their script by simply clicking on the image of the phone on their screen. Led the team in designing and implementing Mobile App Monitoring tool DA Monitoring. Partnered with Motorola in their early efforts to provide Automated Testing for Android Apps. Developed Custom test module which periodically downloaded applications submitted for Motorola's early Android Smartphones (Cliq, Droid, DroidX, Xoom) and verified that the Apps can be installed, uninstalled and they do not interfere with the phone’s basic functionality all using ADB commands.
