Making the water from public storages from a watershed, distributing it equitably with the help of technology and it available in the root zone of plantation in a efficient and guaranteed way is the solution. We are working in this field for last 15 years

Our NGO works in Kolhapur District and especially in Chikotra River Basin which originates at Bhudargad fort and meets Vedganga River near Nipani (Karnataka).Incarporated in 1993, our NGO has made its presense felt in social circles. Following is the activity chart1) Ideal Village Program of State Government.Educated the villagers the effects of liquor, free grazing and indiscriminate axing of trees. Done soil and water conservation works with the help of local authorities.2)Rural Sanitation program of State constructed 2000 latrines in various villages3)Formation of Self Help GroupWe have 65 active SHG in villages around Chikotra river4) Farmers club, PACS We have helped them to get the various government projects.5)Research Project: Equitable distribution of water in six villages of Chikotra basin.This first of this kind project in the world. Dealing with water rights and its distribution on equitable terms.The project, after 12 years of follow up has been sanctioned by the state government.

We are engaged in establishing water rights to every citizen based on his need and capacity. We are presently engaged with Government of Maharashtra for a pilot project in six villages of Chikotra river Basin (KR 71). State Goverment as approved this project after 12 years of marathon convincing efforts. It will be the first project of its kind in the world where water will be distributed equitably .
