Managed the successful set-up, testing, commissioning and acceptance of KCA Deutag’s drilling rigs in Kuwait for the national client KOC (Kuwait Oil Company). Both rigs are currently fully operational in Kuwait. - Oversee daily drilling & maintenance activities, ensuring compliance to QHSE requirements.- Expertise in ISO 45001 & 9001 implementations, ensuring the QHSE compliances meet the company’s KPI and annual QHSE plan targets. - Analyze trends in reported unsafe acts/conditions, recommend and implement solutions.- Capture rig move learnings & improvement opportunities, and prepare reports with recommended solutions to optimise future rig moves.- Develop and maintain QHSE documents e.g. HSE Plan, Bridging Document, Emergency Plan.- Conduct gap analysis of QHSE management system through audits and address any findings.- Investigate accidents/incidents and equipment failures, perform root cause analysis using Kelvin TOP-SET Methodology, 8D’s & 5Y’s, and develop detailed reports. - Plan & coordinate inspections and certifications of operational and safety critical equipment. - Conduct QHSE and operational audits, identify gaps in the system and propose solutions. - Conduct emergency response drills and rescue trainings for readiness.

- Responsible for coaching rig personnel in KCA Deutag’s Operational & QHSE standards and processes which included but not limited to: o Enhanced Drilling Reporting System (EDRS) o Case Action Tracking System (CATS) o KCA Deutag Operational Management System (KOMS) o SAP – management of preventive maintenance and inspection tasks.- Planned and executed operational trainings and implementation tasks whilst ensuring uninterrupted safe operations on site.- Closely monitored the implemented systems to ensure the required company standards are being met.- Developed integration-training material to meet company standards and requirements. - Rolled out the Global Competence System (GCS) whilst conducting competence assessments for rig personnel including Senior Operations and Maintenance Supervisors.

Project Manager - Rig Move Optimization Project – Rig T-203, Brunei - Successfully reduced rig move time from 13.25 days to 6.5 days, saving up to USD 35,000 per day. 2. Project Manager - Performance Improvement Project – RIG T-91, Oman (September 2018) - Optimized operational and rig move performance. - Successfully improved BOP testing times, tripping speeds & rig move times.

Operational experience and knowledge of working at Rig T201 in Brunei where I successfully completed various operational and functional positions before being appointed as the Rig-In Charge Supervisor.Demonstrated leadership qualities by successfully working as the Rig In-charge Supervisor AT Rig T201. Supervised all maintenance operations at rig site and also handled HSE cases and logistics for operations and crew members.

Responsible for discussing concerns and views of peers from the department and finding appropriate solutions to their concerns.

Analysed in detail, the damages on various parts of a variety of engine types - CFM56, RB211, GP7200 and GE90. Used analysis results to create critical repair documents through SAP in accordance with EASA & FAA regulations. Carried out post repair checks on parts and created final clearance documents to move the parts into assembly.CFM Action Work Out: (Team Leader – worked with GE Cincinnati) o Found new repair techniques to reduce cost of repairs and save on scrap material. o An approximate saving of $2.5m was achieved.Awarded the “Great People of Wales” award for excellence during internship and CFM Action Work Out project.
