It Manager
•Develop strategic roadmaps for data centers, user device platforms, monitoring tools and security as it relates to the IT Operations area. •Oversee the 24 X 7 operations of IT Infrastructure, ensuring systems and teams meet SLA performance objectives. •Ensure that infrastructure is meeting best practices and standards and are effectively monitored and meeting performance requirements. •Develop strategies and support plans to consistently exceed service levels in a highly dynamic and fast changing application environment; proactively identify resource gaps and propose mitigation plans. •Implement effective problem management processes to identify and proactively remediate incident trends. •Ensure that all IT Operation’s teams are aligned with business needs. •Lead the organizational unit including organizational structure design, job descriptions, personnel development and scheduling, recruitment and performance evaluation. •Prepare and manage budget for the IT Operations area. •Oversee the planning, procurement, implementation, operations, maintenance and obsolescence of the Associations’ technology assets. •Manage vendors and service providers including SLAs, RFIs, RFPs and contracts as it relates to IT Operations. •Formulate and maintain policies, procedures and documentation for the IT Operations area. •Demonstrates flexibility and diplomacy to ensure the effective resolution of competing demands and priorities that are reflective of sound judgment and strong problem-solving skills. •Analyze situations, evaluate alternatives, and implement solutions within standards (where applicable).•Manage the process of providing reliable tape and disk backups, oversee quarterly backup validations and ensure full system recovery documentation is current and complies with IT standards.•Participate in decision-making activities related to the production IT application, hardware, and software.
