Graduated in Bachelor of Political Science from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (National University of Malaysia) in 2010. During his Bachelor studies, he took a few subjects on sociology and anthropology such Social Mobility and Social Change. Due to his passion in sociology, he pursued his master degree in criminal justice in 2012. His passion on research has made him pursued knowledge in many disciplines and thus obtaining him a few master degrees namely in ASEAN studies (2012), Criminal Justice (2014) and Mass Communication (2016) for the past 6 years. Later on he decided to be expert in criminal justice field. He then pursue his Ph.D in Criminal Justice at University of Malaya. His PhD’s research is titled “The Need of Community Based Post Release and Aftercare Programme for Former Prisoner”. He has passion for research, especially in re-integration of ex-prison inmates, recidivism risk factors and desistance protective factors. A motivated and enthusiastic researcher with a strong desire to foster a cohesive research atmosphere. In a learning process of becoming expert in Malaysia regarding recidivism and desistance among ex-prison inmates. By pursuing knowledge in a plethora of disciplines has prepared him to be a strong candidate in the program.
