I am an Associate Professor of Data Science at Department of Physics, Universiti Putra Malaysia. I have vast experience in working on developing new algorithms for numerous of application especially for object detection, pattern recognition, intelligent analysis, predictive analytics, and indoor localization system. Previously, I joined Nokia Bell Labs, Dublin, Ireland as a post-graduate research intern to carried out research and working with research team on co-localization and tracking algorithm for WLAN networks. I have also served as an invited researcher in Bell Labs Antwerp, Belgium to apply the localization system for Bell-Labs Future-X day. In 2019, I have been attached to the Indian Institute Technology Kanpur, India, as a Postdoctoral Fellow working on peer-to-peer networks. I have also served multiple positions in Ministry of Education and Higher education, Malaysia such as technical committee for Smart Data Project and technical workforce for Big Data Project between 2019 to 2021. I am also a Fellow of CEO@Faculty at the ministry of Higher Education where I have been placed in National Instruments Penang, Malaysia in 2018 to learn & experience CEO's day to day working behaviours and the organization. I am currently the Head of Data Science research group in UPM. My current research interest is within the field of machine learning and artificial intelligence where I have published more than 40 high impact articles in the area. My other research interests include signal processing, pattern recognition/ matching/ prediction, machine learning algorithms, electromagnetics-related computation and modelling and RF and microwave-based sensor system. I am looking for passionate researchers to cooperate with me in terms of joint publications, research collaboration, staff exchanges, joint grant proposal writing.
