Exploration Performance ReportingReport Exploration business performance which includes HSE, capability development, risk assurance, resource addition (discovered volume), operational efficiencies (unit finding cost, success rate, resource addition per well) and Exploration expenditure.Exploration CommunityCoordinate monthly operational meeting among key operations stakeholders to ensure the planned exploration drilling programs are executed, drilling sequence is optimized and any opportunities/ threats to Exploration's deliverables are addressed promptly and effectively.Past Performance ReviewConduct past year’s performance review to analyze the results of actual versus plan, identify the historical trending and lessons learned, and perform industry benchmarking.KPIsEstablish Exploration KPIs which are sustainable, realistic yet challenging, covering HSE, Financial, Operational (especially on Commercial Resource Addition), Strategic Initiatives and People Development and Management. Portfolio Stock-take Conduct periodic health check on Exploration portfolio to ensure adequate inventory of prospects and leads exist to support sustainable production. Annual Review of Petroleum Resources (ARPR)Annually update and analyze resource inventory focusing on exploration-related resources - Contingent Resources (CR) and Prospective Resources (PR). Highlight the quantity and quality of prospects and leads, maturation pace within Exploration and from Exploration to Development, and whether focus is being placed at the right areas per the identified Exploration strategies.Economic ScreeningProvide initial project economic valuation and identify projects which are worthwhile to be brought forward as future economically-feasible blocks to be acquired/ prospects to be drilled.

Strategy DevelopmentDevelop strategy and business plans for PETRONAS’ upstream business in Brunei.Business Planning and BudgetingDrive team in proposing and securing budgets for Exploration and Development projects, and manage the budget requirements during the projects’ execution phase.Performance ImprovementDevelop and monitor company performance through scorecard/ KPIs setting and periodic review.Risk ManagementManage risks at country level through the establishment of Company Risk Profile, Business Continuity Plans, and periodic risks identification and mitigation actions. Ensure continuous risks discussions at the established country risk management committee.Stakeholder Management and Strategic Communications Establish stakeholder management plan and programs to manage the identified key internal and external stakeholders. Strategy Dialogue Coordinator for Exploration Business strategy and business plans for international ventures. Drive the exercise through strategic engagements with Exploration's Senior General Manager (International) and Regional General Managers. Identify the Resource Addition issue vis-à-vis the company’s long term target, present the current state of Exploration International portfolio, and assist the international team in developing refined strategies and revised business plans. Projects Generation, Selection and Sequencing (PGSS) Focal person for the preparation of project data (Africa region) for PGSS (PETRONAS’ process to assess project economics and select projects for business plans). Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (such as Geophysics & Geology, Reservoir, Drilling, and Facilities) to acquire comprehensive data.Corporate Plans and Budget (CPB)Focal person for the preparation of CPB for Africa. Assist Africa project teams in preparing the region’s planned activities, operational targets and budget for Financial Year period January – December. Annual Review of Petroleum Resources (ARPR)Coordinator for ARPR (accounting and reporting exercise of company’s hydrocarbon resources and reserves) for Africa. Audit input by Africa project teams, especially Sudan and South Sudan.Exploration Projects Meeting (EPM)Organizer for EPM Africa Projects. EPM is a platform for Senior General Manager (International) to drive the business.Exploration TownhallLead organizer for Exploration Townhall 2011 for 350 staff. Design the event program and execution plans, and ensure proper execution.

Operations analyst for domestic product supply (via vessels and pipelines) and depot inventory. Ensure massive data from inspection companies and terminals/depots are organized in orderly manner, and perform analyses for performance monitoring and tracking.

Portfolio analyst at VP Oil's Office. Involve in developing an optimized portfolio for oil business. Work with Downstream operating units and consultant (PFC Energy) in developing a portfolio model.

Country Geopolitics and RisksStrategic coordinator for Country Risk. Prepare reports and analysis such as County Risk Profiles, Presidents Office’s reports and Weekly Risk Highlights. Conduct pre-assessment exercise for PETRONAS' overseas ventures. Country Strategy Facilitate the development of Integrated Country Strategy (ICS) for PETRONAS Group for Vietnam and Indonesia. Coordinate both the administrative and strategy development of the ICS; engaging all relevant business representatives across PETRONAS and the Vice Presidents.Stakeholder RelationsHead of the Secretariat of International Contingent that manages 160 PETRONAS overseas staff members participating in PETRONAS Sports Carnival. Major tasks include managing the apparels, data gathering, logistics, welfare, medical, allowances, accommodation and sports training. International Business BudgetsCoordinate, prepare and present the annual International Business Group budget (for 14 Country Offices) to Vice President of Corporate Planning and Development Division for approval.
