Directly involved in inspecting, testing and assuring the finished products (medium-voltage electrical switchgears) is at its best quality and built as per customers’ specifications. Manage and lead team of testing engineers and technicians to perform routine tests and present the finished and tested product to the customer (local and international) during Factory-Acceptance-Test (FAT) before preparing the product for delivery according to the timeline schedule.Provide courses within the department on new schemes implemented to the product, and to train (basic and advanced) to new technicians/intern students to familiarize the role of switchgear in power electrical engineering and mastering skills required to do the tests.

Involved in assisting professional engineers and testing technicians in Control & Relay Panel (CRP) design and testing, also to assist the team to present the product in FAT to customers. This is part of the UQ Engineering Professional Practice, which requires students to complete 12 weeks (60 working days) in a professional engineering practice environment.
