17 years but it seems like yesterday when I started working with Louise Phillipe in 2007 as fashion advisor, where I spent my initial learning phase of about a year understanding basics of retail and customer service. one fine day, I bumped into the store manager of Hugo Boss who impressed with my customer service offered me to join his brand at Emporio Mall. Hugo Boss was the best learning institution for me. My 2 years with Hugo Boss as fashion consultant made me a stable professional in luxury retail. In 2010, I joined KENZO an LVMH brand, one more step deeper into luxury for me. Unfortunately, Kenzo did not perform well in Indian market and had to shut down its operation in India.However, impressed with my performance company shifted me to its another lovely brand PAUL SMITH.I spent beautiful 4 years with this brand, from joining as Senior fashion consultant to getting promoted as Customer relation manager and finally to Assistant store manager. Spending so long with luxury I got fascinated towards bigger retail format which landed me to the world's biggest apparel retail company i.e INDITEX.They approached me for their new brand in India, MASSIMO DUTTI. I got selected as Deputy manager and joined in Mar 2016 for their upcoming store. I got my initial training in London, UK. Within 6 months of opening they chose me as store manager for their second upcoming store. Moreover, constantly appreciating my work company again chose me to setup and handle our new flagship store in Mumbai. I spent good 3 months there before coming back to my store in Noida.My consistent performance in store management, pragmatic approach and inclination to develop my team, landed me to another important promotion of my career as Talent acquisition & Training development manager of ZARA simultaneously handling Massimo Dutti as HR. I spent good 2 years at this position brushing my skills in training and development. In 2021, I was offered again to join Massimo Dutti as Brand Manager combining the role of DT & HR. I now handle the entire Massimo Dutti operations in India for both offline and online business. I got trained for this position at our HQ in Tordera, Spain as well as in Athens, Greece. I also travelled to Dubai, Singapore & Korea for different opening projects.17 years but still seems like yesterday, fruitful journey in retail so far. I consider myself a student of retail industry and try to learn more consistently with each passing day.
