Dr. Mohd Faizal Hamzah currently holds the position of Senior Librarian at the University of Malaya (UM), concurrently serving as a part-time lecturer at the same institution. Commencing his educational journey in 2006, he earned his Diploma in Information Management from Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM). Subsequently, Dr. Hamzah continued his academic pursuits at UiTM, obtaining both his Bachelor's and Master's degrees in 2008 and 2011, respectively. In 2019, he successfully completed his Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.), specializing in Information Management with a focus on work design and work performance.With a wealth of over 15 years of professional experience and a prolific scholarly record, Dr. Faizal has authored more than 40 articles in the fields of Library Science and Information Management. His contributions have garnered recognition through various prestigious awards, notably the Malaysia Aspiring Librarian Award in 2015. Additionally, his recent accolades include the Masti Gemilang Administrator Award (Social Writing) in 2022 and the Masti Gemilang Administrator Award (Research) in Other Schemes, further affirming his dedication and expertise.Dr. Faizal's remarkable achievements extend beyond academia. He has assumed leadership roles, serving as the Vice President II for the Malaysian Librarian Association from 2019 to 2022. Concurrently, he has chaired the Special Disabled Users in Library committee since 2016 and holds the esteemed position of Malaysia Representative to the Southeast Asian Librarians Leadership Convergence since 2021. Through his outstanding accomplishments, Dr. Mohd Faizal Hamzah continues to make significant contributions to the field of Library Science and Information Management.
