With more than 13 years of working experience, currently as Shell Technical Authority in Materials, Corrosion and Inspection (MCI) and OSR inspector (Offshore Self Regulation), my role is to provide technical MCI and Asset Integrity support to the Shell Malaysia Deepwater team ranging from engineering to procurement, construction, installation, commissioning and operation (EPCICO). This is in addition to maintaining my certifications as NACE Senior Corrosion Technologist and as API 510 (Pressure Vessel Inspector), API 570 (Piping Inspector) and API 580 (Risk Based Inspection).To develop a broader perspective in the oil and gas industry and beyond, I have been developing my interest in digitalization by obtaining a professional certificate in data analytics from Innodatatics. In my previous role as Development Inspection Engineer from Nov 2007 to Feb 2012, my goal has been to develop process and procedures of the Inspection department in SMDS. This includes Shell-RBI program (Inspection plan, Integrity Operating Window (IOW) and Management of Change (MOC)), Plant Turnaround (PTA) Inspection scope and Special NDT.Prior to this, I was with Standard Chartered Bank from Oct 2006 to Oct 2007 as Assistant Relationship Manager working with corporate clients on their business needs including business financing, cash management and trade services.I started my career as a Quality Engineer in an aircraft manufacturer which is Columbia Aircraft in Oregon, USA from Sept 2005 to Sept 2006.
