Reporting to the Head of Internal Audit; this is a multifaceted audit specialist role requiring extensive audit coordination, proactive communication and reporting of technical content with clarity and precision.Undertaking technical as well as business process audits in all the major areas impacting the business by following dynamic risk based audit plan focused on the high risk areas. Also executing special assignments and serve as Internal Audit’s point of contact related to SAP Audits for internal business partners, external auditors & 3rd party consultants.SAP/GRC Audit Specialist responsibilities include; • Handling multiple audit assignments from planning stage till communicating final audit reports.• Preparing risk registers and risk control matrixes for activities under review.• Conduct Risk Management Audits to identify & evaluate business and technology risks and report on the effectiveness of established policies & controls to manage risks.• Review/ensure compliance with local laws, rules and regulations.• Manage all stages of audits including planning, testing of controls, transforming technical results to draft audit reports and management summaries.• Conducting reviews of key business processes such as Project Management, Finance, Procurement and Human Resource.• Conduct special audit investigations and operational audits from time to time as per the management directives.• Working with global subject matter specialists to deliver high quality services to our clients.• Managing special assignments including fraud audits to investigate the misappropriation in the payments, procurement and operations of the company’s activity.• Leading internal audit fieldwork and provide inputs to audit reports indicating objectives, methodology, findings and recommendations. This includes opinions on efficiency and adequacy of audited systems / activities and recommendations for improvement of the business processes reviewed.

• Identification and evaluation of risks associated with the Embassy information systems and preparation of audit plans and programs• Supporting audit planning by carrying risk assessments of auditable entities• Executing audits relating to information security, systems and technology• Review of general computer controls, such as IT strategy, operations, security, networks / hardware / system software support, program change management, and business continuity• IT control design and risk identification / mitigation reviews• Post implementation reviews of newly introduced systems and applications• Involvement in an advisory role on all major information security and information technology projects

I was solely responsible for and directly involved in all information technology aspects and projects which supported the United States Peace Corps program in Jordan and the region in coordination with Peace Corps HQ in Washington DC. My main duties were: IT and information security governance, systems and infrastructure life cycle management, IT service delivery and support, protection of information assets, value delivery, resource management, business continuity, disaster recovery planning.

- Capturing and discussing organization’s needs and develop applications accordingly.- Integrate and connect different systems to use one data repository.- Responsible of 5 Servers with the following services: AD (Active Directory), VPN (Virtual Private Networks), ISA 2004, Exchange 2003, and Symantec Server.- Responsible of 86 networked PCs running various Microsoft operating systems (Hardware and Software troubleshooting).- Training and assisting the Staff individually on how to use with certain applications.- Responsible of the backup process, and backup media storage.- Formalizing IT Security polices and writing technical guides for systems usage.
