- To draft and prepare internal audit reports with findings and recommendations for management review and actions;- To plan and supervise an audit team in performing periodic and systematic reviews of the business processes of the entities within TH Plantations Group. These reviews include examining and evaluating the adequacy and effectiveness of the financial and operational controls within each operating unit;- To independently maintain awareness of existing and emerging current control and risk issues such as:-o Oil Palm mill utilisation rate, oil extraction rate, yield per hectare versus industry average (Malaysia Palm Oil Board)o Actual plantation development expenditure versus projected cash flow (return on investment)o Expenditure incurred versus benefit occurredo Progress development and current operations required abide by law and regulationo Maximizing high return from operational cost such as type of fertilizer, fertilizer cost, type of seedling, seedling cost, capital expenditure, labour cost, accommodation cost, vehicle running cost, and others cost which being controlo Identifying the difficulty of dispute land and matter arising especially in Sarawak region which was against Native Customary Right (NCR) and are subject to local claims. (Required data and reporting by GPS surveyors if the land is ‘provisional lease’ rather than ‘lease of state land’).

1. To prepare the planning memorandum and audit procedures/guidelines for the area under examination;2. To understand and perform the audit procedures in respect of each internal audit;3. To prepare appropriate work papers, review current processes and improve the effectiveness to strengthen internal control and compliance in financial and operation matters.4. To identify issues for discussion with the Head of Audit Department and the Internal Audit Manager;5.
