• Managing Operations & Maintenance of Utilities & Facility. Chiller, Air Compressor, Boiler, HVAC system, Ammonia Plant, Cooling Tower, Fire Fighting system, maintenance of water treatment plant, wastewater treatment plant, High Voltage & Low voltage supply and Cogen.• Providing a good support for production on utilities supplies in term of air, steam, water, electricity & gas.• Carrying out of Predictive, Preventive maintenance & Breakdown maintenance, planning & execution Erection, commissioning and start-up of Capital projects / Plant modification jobs. • Co-ordinate with plant & external agency for predictive, routine maintenance, preventive maintenance and shutdown maintenance in a planned manner & prioritization. • Responsible for the Engineering Design, project specification, supplier selection, technical evaluation, negotiations together with Procurement for the tender Project. • Plan, schedule and monitor all work being performed by contractors and others within area of responsibility and perform quality assurance inspection on all completed jobs.• Responsible for renewal of government licence of the equipment under factory & machinery act.• Responsible for Bomba fire certificate application & inspection • Managing work permit issuance before carry out any works • Responsible for Utility Operations & Maintenance budget preparation, monitoring & control, expense record & downtime analysis, root cause failure analysis. • Lead the team in Energy saving program & water resources management• Involve in Energy Saving & Thermal Energy Program/Project. (CO-Generation system, Condensate Recovery, Waste Heat Recovery system, Solar System, High Efficiency Chiller, High Efficiency Boiler with Economizer, LED lighting, Inverter system)• Managing the maintenance costing for OPEX & CAPEX• Involve in Internal/External audits to ensure effectiveness of ISO14001:2015, ISO45001:2018, ISO9001:2015, FSSC 22000, HACCP, GMP, 5S and HSE implementation.

• Establish & maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for shift staff based on manufacturer’s recommended operating procedures covering all main and auxiliary plant and equipment.• Plan, manage and monitor the day to day operation of power plant.• Liaise with TNB regarding all matters pertaining to dispatch, shutdown etc.• Always Liaise closely with procurement department to ensure the availability of fuel • Establish and monitor annual operation budget• Establish & maintain staff orientation / training / refresher training procedures• Ensure compliance to health & safety procedures as required by DOSH/DOE/BOMBA/SURUHANJAYA TENAGA• Do planning for plant monthly shut down for inspection, cleaning and maintenance.• HR scheduling/recruit/discipline/training/refreshing etc.• Compliances to legislation & regulatory requirement • Ensure all power plant and auxiliary equipment in operating condition• Ensure fire fighting and environmental monitoring equipment are always in operating condition• Establish & maintain standard work procedures for both Preventive & Corrective maintenance activities• Establish & maintain spare parts procurement policy• Establish & maintain tooling & workshop services including calibration• Establish annual maintenance budget• Identify, analyse and implement preventive maintenance to avoid reoccurrence of breakdown or minimize unplanned downtime• Implement and lead Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) program• Plan and execute jobs for plan monthly and annual shutdown• Involved in plan and machineries improvement and new projects• Optimize spare parts requirement so that the spare parts are available whenever the needs are arise with minimum inventory cost• Implementing the checklist for the installation and dismantling of the parts and machineries• Creating Standard Operating Procedure for machineries• Involved in Plant construction and commissioning (Boiler, Turbine, Generator and Interconnection equipment)

• Managing inspection, operation and maintenance of gearbox, pumps, conveyor, various types of lifting appliances such as overhead crane, chain blocks, tipper, and various types of hydraulic jacks.• Managing inspection, operation and maintenance of fired and unfired pressure vessel (such as steam boilers, steam turbine, storage tanks, oil purifiers, conveyors, pumps, valves, weighbridge and all other mill machineries and equipment).• Do planning for plant shutdown, preparing spare parts, arranging jobs for mechanic team, follow up and verify their jobs.• Plan and do the plant improvement in term of operation and maintenance.• Preparing the maintenance and breakdown report.• Overseeing of mechanical activities and material inspection related to mill machineries, equipment maintenance and modification.• Coordinated in-house tests such as dye penetrant test, and hydrostatic test.• Played as team lead to prepare for DOSH (JKKP) annual and periodic mill and machineries inspection to ensure compliance of regulations in the obtaining/renewal of certificate of fitness.• Led team in project planning and costing for mill machineries and equipment.• Reviewed design for mill equipment or modification for plant change improvement. • Liaise with regulatory bodies such as DOSH, DOE, MPOB etc. • Assist Mill Manager to oversee overall mill management and compliance of RSPO and OHSAS.• Prepare the planning and execution of annual CAPEX (Capital Expenditure) and OPEX (Operational Expenditure)• Monitoring and supervise the effectiveness of waste water treatment plant for aerobic and anaerobic pond as the Department of Environment requirement.
