Responsible for project planning, including managing budgets and overseeing cost estimation to ensure efficient resource allocation and financial control.Implement new and existing scientific monitoring methodologies to study and conserve the marine and terrestrial ecosystems of the Johor Marine Park.Plan and carry out all activities related to marine and terrestrial conservation, including but not limited to beach cleaning, education, research, environmental protection, sustainability, and recycling initiatives for guests and employees.Manage the collection and input of scientific data and contribute to monthly and annual reporting.Organize and supervise marine and terrestrial surveys such as the Reef Check Survey, Seagrass Watch Survey, and Big Microplastic Project Survey.Conduct morning, night-time, and boat patrols to monitor beaches and the surrounding islands for nesting sea turtles, specifically Hawksbill and Green Turtles.Ensure the successful operation of TIC, including the supervision of volunteers/interns, project logistics, hatchery management, and administration.Supervise the safety of volunteers/interns during fieldwork, diving, and other TIC activities, and complete and follow risk assessments for each activity.Stay updated on current scientific papers and conservation trends, and communicate relevant information to the TIC Team.
