CurrentPrimary Responsibilities:Team Leadership: Directly oversee the operation, maintenance, quality, safety, and reliability of critical utilities, including Electrical HV/LV, Water, Gas, Communication BAS, SCADA, and Air supply systems for PTMSB, ensuring optimal performance.Central Inventory Management: Expertly manage the Central Inventory System (CIM), streamlining ordering processes, ensuring timely supply to end users, and conducting comprehensive stock audits to maintain accuracy and availability.Preventive Maintenance Program: Spearheaded implementation of a robust preventive maintenance program, with a strong focus on budget control for OPEX and CAPEX, ensuring sustainable operational excellence.Regulatory Compliance: Navigate authority matters with TNB, ST, BOMBA, DOSH, DOE, MDTM, ensuring compliance with all regulations, and effective resolution of related issues.Secondary Responsibilities:KPI Management: Strategically plan, manage, monitor, and implement initiatives to meet and exceed departmental KPIs, driving continuous improvement in operations.Utility Consumption Reporting: Analyze and report on utility consumption metrics for PTMSB, identifying trends and efficiency opportunities.Stakeholder Engagement: Cultivate strong relationships with stakeholders across departments, facilitating collaboration and ensuring alignment on operational goals.Team Development: Support the growth of team members, preparing them for advanced roles through targeted training and mentorship.Interfaces:Reporting: Provide reports to the steering group on operational progress, highlighting key metrics and achievements.Delegation: Empower workstream leaders by delegating authority for operational activities to foster accountability.Improvement Projects: Lead projects focused on energy efficiency and cost savings, applying best practices.Support: Provide expert support to utility end users on operations and maintenance programs, promoting quality and efficiency.
