Heading the Africa Trading desk and Sustainability for the rubber business of Olam Agri. In this role, I am looking forward to establish a direct footprint in all major rubber producing origins in Africa, as well as - the associated sustainability initiatives of our midstream rubber business in Côté d’Ivoire

- Spearheaded and established the raw material procurement arm of Olam Rubber- Consistent volume scale-up from 25,000 MT to 235,000 MT in 5 years.- Successfully established a Procurement market share of 15% in just 5 years - Efficiently built a wide network of 6,000 planters and 170 licensed buying agents- Built the business to the No.1 position in Côte d’Ivoire through 2019 and 2021 in raw material exports - Established a market share of 40% in 3 years of export operations- Successfully executed 13+ bulk vessels in 3 years - an "industry first" practice- Created and implemented “GOUASSOU” innovative planter recognition program - Led and established innovative tools and techniques - Farmgate GRNs / Paperless procurement- Digitalized the entire chain including Financial Inclusion and 100% cashless transactions- Introduced innovative quality practices leading to industry-best quality out-turns- Innovative cost sharing ideas enabling cost cutting of raw material

- Predominantly handled 100.000+ MT of Natural Rubber sourcing - Achieved No.1 position in the country in export of cup lumps - Initiated the export of rubber in bulk vessel and successfully executed 4 vessels- Handled the end-to-end operations of cup lump exports in containers- Put in place various digital approaches and innovative quality practices- Cleared the signature Olam Selection Process to be part of GATP - Globally accessible Talent Pool in the first attempt and as one of the top candidates globally

- Built a sourcing capacity of 50,000 MT in just two years of operation- Put in place various innovative practices including fool-proof weighments and payment methods- Lead the sustainability studies in the rubber sector in addition to sourcing responsibilities- Efficiently used OFIS - the Olam platform for sustainability and traceability

- Established the Procurement department of the business to source natural rubber for the processing factory that was taken over as a brownfield project- Completed production information and quality mapping of rubber across the country- Carried out market surveys and put in place the systems and controls of the chain- Identified and addressed risks including credit, quality and material management- Successfully planned and handled digital banking solutions to planters- Planned and put in place various financial inclusion initiatives for suppliers

- Lead a division of a 1,000 ha rubber plantation- Developed a new Rubber + Pineapple + Cocoa + Nutmeg crop pattern- Investigated and started the trials for a new fungicide mixture used to control parasitic fungi that cause damage to plants.- Introduced a new concept of “Model block” that enhances ownership of the employees.- Stand-out role in handling the 1,000 ha Rubber estate with 180 workers and 12 employees.- Executed various new reforms for improving structure, operations and the quality of workforce on the estate.

B&M (Food)

- Worked directly under an IFS Officer on Geo-referencing the forests in Raipur area- Created 10+ maps of 5000+ ha of forest divisions as part of the Forest Information Management System of the Chhattisgarh Forest Department.
