-In charge of daily planning, delegation and oversight of all technical operations, maintenance and repairs on board in consultation with CE.-Responsible for implementation and compliance with ISO 14001 standards for Environmental management.-Control and supervision of engineers, ratings and teams daily working plans, associated with watch and work routines.-Management of stores, spares, lube oils and chemicals including monitoring the consumption, inventory management.-Motivation of engineers and crew, and creation of a safe working environment on board including optimal utilization of resources allocated.-Training of supervised personnel covering:- Orientation, Health and safety, Environmental protection, Use of manuals and procedures, Proper use of tools and equipment, Standard maintenance and operating practices, Develop the skills and confidence of junior members of the team.-While doing any or all of the above, making sure that the respective national and international laws & standards are followed.

-Safe, efficient and cost-effective operations, maintenance and repair of the vessel, it’s technical installations in accordance with the Chief or Second Engineer's instructions-Act as an engine room watch-keeping officer when required-Specifically responsible for Maintenance, repair, spares & inventory management of: Generator engines and related equipment Fuel injection equipment Main Engine crankcase as required by the vessel's PMS and/or as directed by the Chief or Second Engineer.-Maintain order and cleanliness in the generator engine room(s) and in other work areas.-Regular checks and maintenance of emergency equipment inside machinery spaces.

-Safe, efficient and cost-effective operations, maintenance and repair of the vessel, it’s technical installations in accordance with the Chief or Second Engineer's instructions-Act as an engine room watch-keeping officer when required-Specifically responsible for Maintenance, repair, spares & inventory management under guidance of Chief or 2nd Engineer: Purifiers/separators Air compressors Chemical levels and dosage in water systems like boiler and jacket water Lifeboat and Rescue boat engines-Assist Chief Engineer during Bunkering operations.-Maintain order and cleanliness in the purifier room(s) and in other work areas.-Perform other routine and maintenance activities, including breakdown maintenance, as directed by Chief or Second Engineer.
