• Entrusted with end-to-end process of Business Credit Approval along with compliance ofall internal and regulatory credit/other portfolio related policies for Mid-Corporate & SMEcustomer portfolios.• Handling, guiding and training team of credit analysts and RSMs.• Providing support to the Relationship Managers in bringing new business (both newcustomers and existing customers) to the Bank.• Proactively monitoring on an on-going basis, the pool of credits to detect potential creditproblems at an early stage. • Understanding the business model, management capabilities and market strength of the business. Analyzing cash flow projections, commenting on the reasonableness of assumptions & carrying out sensitivity and scenario analysis. Comparing the prospective borrower to its peers, SCOT/SWOT analysis and noting industry trends.• Maintaining credit assessment quality by minimizing the number of proposals rejected or returned by Senior Management by ensuring prior discussions on complicated cases. • Proactively monitoring on an on-going basis the pool of credits to detect potential credit problems at an early stage. Undertaking appropriate steps to prevent slippages in stressed accounts including restructuring of advance as per business requirement. • Providing support to the Relationship Managers in bringing new business (both new customers and existing customers) to the Bank.• Organizing customer meetings at regular intervals with Senior Management and simultaneously providing inputs to business development unit at Head Office.• Guiding and training team of junior credit analysts.

• Credit Risk Analysis for more than 25 Mid-Corporate & 100 SME customer portfolios of INR 30 Billion representing gamut of diverse industries ranging from automobile ancillaries, allied agriculture, footwear, pharmaceuticals, infrastructure, commercial real estate, trading, renewable energy, consumer goods and Government advances. • Assessment for term loan, working capital and other non-fund based facilities for corporate clients under sole, multiple and consortium banking arrangement. • Working out company’s credit rating based on Credit Risk Assessment (CRA) model covering detailed analysis of business, industry, management and financial risk using financial modeling and Credit Monitoring Arrangement Data (CMA) sheets.• Project & Infrastructure Finance: Appraising Greenfield and Brownfield projects and determine the requirement of term/ working capital/ trade finance.
