Hi, I am a Mechanical Engineer. Currently I am working as Sr. Research Engineer at Auxein Medical. I joined Auxein Medical on August 2015 as FEA Engineer. After the successful implementation of Finite Element Analysis lab, our next target was to set an in-house mechanical testing lab to evaluate the performance of orthopaedic implants and instruments. After 3 years of hard work, in 2019 we established state of art mechanical testing lab at Auxein premises. Auxein's mechanical testing lab is equipped with the high end testing machines and instruments. We can validate our FEA results with mechanical testing results. After the set up of mechanical testing lab, we started ISO 17205:2017 accreditation process with NABL. We got accreditation certificate within 4 months. I got QMS experience during this project. Now we are participating in proficiency testing programs oraganised by ASTM international. We are also developing novel testing methods to evaluate the performance of the implants.Now I am working on regulatory requirements and also taking care of Clinical Evaluation Reports, Biocompatibility testing of our products and Metal 3D printing.Our next target will be getting CE as per EU MDR guidelines and USFDA 510k submissions for our remaining products.Apart from this, I am also pursuing my PhD which is sponsored by Auxein Medical. I am developing porous structure cervical cages using additive manufacturing. We are mimicking the bone structure in our cages. I would like to thank Auxein Medical for providing me this opportunity.
