- Developing an egocentric-driven videoconferencing to facilitate hand-free video calls, for instance on smart glasses or other mixed-reality devices. The device is a low-cost wearable egocentric camera setup that can be integrated into smart glasses.- Working directly with key application developers to understand the current and future problems they are solving, creating and optimizing core parallel algorithms and data structures to provide the best solutions using GPUs, through both library development and direct contribution to the applications.

- Developed a No Reference Image Quality Analysis method and a multi-functional ROI tool.- Developed methods for generating large artificial images by solving heat equations.

Developed image processing algorithms and vision system design for Fruitron - Machine vision based high-speed colour, size, weight and defect sorting for fruits using visible, Infrared and ultraviolet technology and machine-learning algorithms. Key contributions include :- Research and development of various fruit segmentation and tracking algorithms.- Responsible for selection of optics and design of the vision system.- Development and analysis of defect detection algorithms for UV and IR imaging.- Color calibration across cameras to compensate for uneven illumination and camera sensitivity.

- Designed and implemented fruit tracking and ejection system for India's first automated fruit sorting system(Fruitron).- Responsible for interfacing, alignment and calibration of cameras and lights of the vision system.
