As part of the PMU at Bihar government’s Higher Education Directorate supported on mandates like strengthening ODL nodes in Bihar for boosting state’s GER, inspection of on-ground implementation of schemes like RUSA and PM-USHA, daily monitoring of colleges and universities on multiple academic and administrative parameters, and other related miscellaneous priority areas of the Directorate.

My role involved supporting and leading multiple project management workstreams of 12 High-End 21st Century Schools of Specialized Excellence (HE-21 ASoSEs). Some key highlights were:1. Core OC Member -DELHI ROBOTICS LEAGUE (DRL) 2023: India’s first statewide school level Robotics competition with IIT-Delhi for 268 schools. Executed DRL with alongwith IIT-Delhi leadership 2. Collaborating with senior administrative leadership and IIT-D, NIFT, LAHI as Lead Knowledge Partners for overall Project deliverables and roadmap3. Driving efforts for time-driven target completion related to school Infrastructure developments and related procurements via GeM/Open Market routes4. Accelerated govt. Engagement & partnership with private players for immersive field exposureopportunities in 7 HE21 schools for over 200 students5. Executed Computer-based and Hands-On assessments for G9 & 10 for courses like Robotics, Coding, DMD & Fashion for over 1500 students in 7 schoolsIn my initial project as a CMIE Fellow, I was the Lead Coordinator where I spearheaded a Project Management Unit (PMU) with 15 members reporting findings to the political and administrative leadership of GNCTD and DoE.1. Overseeing implementation of 7 key educational programs in ~1041 DoE Schools across 12 districts.2. Designed School Profiling template, standardized it using FGDs with key stakeholders3. Successfully profiled ~400 schools, collated qualitative district-wise specific challenges and best practices in these schools4. Audited the Google Chromebooks in 55 schools and drafted a detailed report along with a Performance Index

I closely assisted senior bureaucrats, a Member of Parliament and senior academicians visiting as faculty in the Advanced Management Program in Public Policy (AMPPP) course.

Decoding Power Perception in Civil Servants & Aspirants: A Narrative Analysis (MA Dissertation)A qualitative approach was used to understand the differing perspectives and perceptions on Power by using a combination of Narrative Analysis and Thematic Network Analysis (Glaser, 1992). The findings provide an insight about the deep-seeded motives of aspirants & officers that made them strive for power in a cultural context of India.
