I was responsible for a team of upto 10 developers (+ some vendors), handling multiple projects, catering to internal IT solutions within Microsoft IT. In addition to the people management responsibilities, I was accountable for the timely delivery of dev deliverables of multiple projects, for detailing future state solution roadmaps for multiple applications, for driving architecture & designs that fulfill the business requirements & yet remain flexibly aligned to the future state roadmaps. I was also accountable for driving the dev processes & methodologies necessary to produce great quality deliveries. Processes like estimations, automated code reviews, automated builds using MSBuild & deployments using MSBuild custom tasks, tracking VSTF items & metrics around the quality of the delivery etc

Working at Intuit India Product Development center, with a title Sr Development Manager, but the role being more like an engineering manager, responsible for a desktop product, and the entire team of analysts, developers, and QA.I’m responsible for the tactical execution as well as strategic plan making / road-mapping of the product (Turbo Tax Small Business) that I own, as well as for the career development and mentoring of ~10 team members reporting to me (a mix of analysts, developers, testers).
