MOHIUDDIN HELALMay I take the liberty to introduce myself, I am Mohiuddin Helal a tourism sector specialist, professional consultant, trainer, and speaker in Bangladesh. I have over 20 years of professional experience in diverse areas including the Tourism sector, Skills Development, Media & Publication, Research & Training, Destination SMEs, Community & Eco-Tourism, and Events Management. I am a certified Commonwealth Youth Development Practitioner and KIZAN practitioner for operational excellence to enhance productivity. I am also a master trainer of Life Skills and Entrepreneurship. As a community tourism specialist, I am involved with a number of community engagement & awareness projects & initiatives among individuals and SMEs for the development of alternative livelihood, nature & cultural conservation, and transformation of inherited skills on productivity with creativity and innovation. As an event planner & organizer, I have experience in organizing a good number of small and big-sized corporate and public events locally and Internationally. Since 2011, as chairman of the management committee, I am organizing Asian Tourism Fair (www.asiantourismfair.com), Dhaka every year. As Chairman & CEO of the Tourism & Hospitality Industry Skills Council, I have diverse experience working with different projects and activities of different renowned organizations like - ILO, ADB, WB, USAID, SEIP, BTEB, NSDA, BPC, BTB, and many other international and local organizations. As Editor & Publisher of the popular travel magazine-the Parjatan Bichitra, I have strong PR communication and media background with publishing experience of travel magazines around 50 publications. My area of interest is to work for the local community with development projects or initiatives, Nature & Cultural Conservation, Future Skills, Integration of 4. o for local community benefits, and Transformation of inherited community skills to productivity for building a better future world. I completed Masters of Business Administration (MBA) at Dhaka University, Achieved certified training from ITCILO: International Training Center of the ILO, Turin, Italy, Competent Trainer & Assessor under TAFE- Australia & Bangladesh Technical Education Board (BTEB), competent KIZAN Practitioner under ILO & KIZAN India, Diploma on Youth Development (DYD) from university of Huddersfield & BOU under Commonwealth Youth Program.
