- Working as a research assistant in the Center for Photonics and Smart Materials (CPSM) focusing on the inverse design of Photonic Crystal Fibers (PCFs), metamaterial sensors, and SiP modulators.- Teaching the following courses in Nanotechnology and Nanoelectronics Engineering Major:Introduction to Integrated Silicon Photonics (2023): This course introduces the basics of integrated photonics, its passive and active components, and how they come together to form photonic circuits.Computational Photonics (2023 - 2024): This course introduces FEM, FDM, BPM, MEM, and how they are used to model photonic devices.Principles of Microwave and Waveguides (2023 - 2024): This course introduces metallic waveguides, transmission lines, and network analysis.Nanophotonics (2022 - 2023): This course explains how Maxwell equations can be used to model the behavior of Slab waveguides, Strip (2D) waveguides, Couplers (Coupled Mode Theory), Multi-mode Interferometers, plasmonic sensors (Surface Plasmon Resonance), and Periodic structures (1D Bragg Grating). It also covers some unconventional analysis methods such as Mode Expansion Method, and Effective Index Method. Electromagnetics (2022 - 2023): This course covers the basics of electrostatics, magnetostatics, and Maxwell Equations.Solid State Devices (2022): This course will make special emphasis on p-n junctions, heterojunctions, and metal-semiconductor junctions) leading to MOSFETs.Advanced Devices (2021): This course focuses on bulk MOSFET physics and limitations, SOI FET technology, Double-gate, FinFETs, and their compact modeling using VerilogA.- Teaching the following courses in Communication and Information Engineering Major:Electromagnetics II (2022 - 2024): The course presents electromagnetic wave applications: Transmission Lines, Wave Guides, Cavity Resonators, and Antennas.Electromagnetics I (2021): This course covers the fundamentals of Electromagnetic Fields and waves.
