Of my 7 years of overall IT experience, I have been in the technology sales and marketing field for the last 4 years. My current work majorly involves to lend an ear to customer's IT requirements, their business and IT challenges, market demands and explore best possible alternatives to address using technology products and solutions. It also gives me a chance to feed my product development teams with must/good to have enhancements to keep up with the market trends. Another aspect of what I like about my job is I get to travel and meet people of different cultures and value systems, which helps me to grow as an individual.I have learned over the course of my career that problem solving skills are not innate, they can be picked up as we go along and improved with every opportunity we encounter. The very idea of turning things around either by eliminating problems or mitigating them is quite rewarding to me personally.
