Senior Project Engineer
Key Responsibilities:-1- Communication with subcontractors and vendors to deliver technical support throughout project execution.2- Liaising with local councils, utilities, and service providers to ensure that all works are carried out effectively without interruptions to avoid reworks and non-compliance with environmental and safety measures.3- Develop drawings or sketches illustrating the steps or methods required to complete a task and ensure project & site engineers understand this requirement and actively participate in this task.4- Manage on-site engineering functions and activities through the project team which include Project Engineers, Planning Engineers.5- Demonstrate commercial management skills and commercial acumen and prepare monthly accruals and forecasts and assess monthly progress claims.6- Ensure all the daily quality controls are in place while conducting any inspections with the internal or external stakeholders.7- Develop and maintain an awareness of SHE hazards and associated risks and demonstrate a commitment to eliminate or minimize those risks.8- Develop SWMS, ITPs, Inspection Checklists, and work packs and ensure reviewing and updating them periodically.9- Utilization of the project’s contractual process to produce all the required documents that help in achieving the project objectives.10- Maintain quality, environmental and safety systems across the project to promote health and safety standards.11- Overseeing the short and long-term construction planning for controlled works, including submittals, start-up planning, and scheduling.12- Collaborate on a wide range of packages and identify, assess of project’s risks and implement the planned response to mitigate the impact of those risks.13- Tracking and evaluating key performance indicators (KPIs) and productivity metrics in alignment with project schedules and budgetary constraints.14- Compiling monthly accruals, creating forecasts, and evaluating progress claims monthly.
