Contributing to the Apache Flink project for fixing issues, documentation, and new features that help expand Flink's ecosystem for the community's use cases.

Building the data streaming hub to make it possible for organization to solve impossible data engineering challenges.

• Introduced the gRPC ecosystem to the WePay engineering and infrastructure on top of the Linkerd service mesh architecture, and designed a migration path from RESTful to gRPC for the legacy microservices to decrease the overall internal service-to-service communications' latency.• Founded two new engineering programs to aid engineers for publicly sharing their engineering ideas at conferences and events, and open source their software or contribute to open source communities, respectively.• Collaborated with various engineering functions to improve WePay's internal APM, application metrics, and visualization dashboards for better visibility for the SRE and development teams, using technologies like Prometheus, ELK, Instana, and NewRelic.

• Built out the new Platform Infrastructure and Tools team at WePay to focus on processes and internal services and tools that help with Engineers' overall effectiveness and productivity.• Architected and implemented a new, container-native, and distributed configuration management system that allowed all microservices and infrastructure services at WePay to inject their configurations into their runtime container(s) in a given environment.
